Accessibility

How Eventumbot approaches accessibility on this marketing website, known limits, and how to request an alternative format or report a barrier.

Intent

This marketing site should be usable with keyboard, screen readers and common browser zoom. We aim to meet the intent of WCAG 2.2 Level AA for public pages. The live conference product (author dashboards, review, registration) is covered under customer implementation, not only this statement.

What we design for

Pages use semantic headings, visible focus, text alternatives for meaningful images, and colour that is not the only way to convey meaning. Interactive controls are built with Nuxt UI patterns that expose accessible names. Language can be switched among English, French, German and Spanish; the language of each page should match the selected locale.

Known limits

Some third-party embeds, if introduced later, may not meet the same standard. Older PDF attachments, if any, may not be fully tagged. We will note exceptions here when we know them rather than claiming a perfect site.

The conference product

Event websites and participant apps generated for customers follow the same intent, but each meeting’s content (uploaded PDFs, colour choices in a programme theme) can introduce barriers we do not control. Organisers remain responsible for the accessibility of their own scientific documents.

Feedback

If you hit a barrier on eventumbot.com, write to [email protected] with the page URL, the assistive technology you use if relevant, and what you expected to happen. We will acknowledge the report and describe what we can change. You may also request an alternative format for a specific resource.
