Abstract management
Abstract management is the process of collecting, structuring and tracking conference submissions so a scientific committee can review them and, later, place accepted work in a programme.
In academic meetings an “abstract” is usually a structured record, not a paragraph pasted into email. Organisers define a call (topics, presentation types, file rules), authors submit, and staff need a complete object: title, authors, affiliations, statements and files, plus status (draft, submitted, withdrawn). Good abstract management is what makes peer review possible without rebuilding the dataset. It is not the same as registration, and it is not yet a timetable. Eventumbot treats the abstract as the object that review decisions and session builders continue to use.
