Situation
Attendees were under-informed about timing and facilities. Pushing last-minute changes by email was too slow. The operations team already lived in Slack and did not want a third inbox.
Constraints
The chatbot had to live where attendees already messaged. Internal communication could not be copied by hand from Slack. Flexibility from the vendor mattered more than a rigid feature checklist.
Implementation
Eventumbot answered schedule and facility questions in Messenger, sent pushes for last-minute changes, and integrated with nexxworks’ Slack. The Botwiser team adapted the setup rather than forcing a generic template.
Results
- Attendees were better informed about the schedule and facilities.
- Participants could get answers and receive last-minute change alerts.
- The bot used Facebook Messenger and joined existing Slack operations.
- Frederic, CCO at nexxworks, recommended Eventumbot for ease of use and participant uptake.
